If you own property or land in Bulgaria you would have formed a Bulgarian company to be able to own it. According to Bulgarian law the company is required to prepare a set of audited annual accounts at the end of each financial year.

Although your Bulgarian company may not be a 'trading' company you are still required to submit an annual set of accounts to the Bulgarian authorities.

If you receive a rental income from your property in Bulgaria then it is very important that you keep detailed accounts of income and expenditure and have an audit carried out annually and pay the appropriate taxes to the Bulgarian government.
